I have written before about the importance of engagement sessions, they are fun, friendly, romantic but most of all, it helps us as photographers to bond with the future Mr & Mrs which makes it so much easier for everyone on the wedding day! This Balboa Park engagement Session is no different, after all, who doesn’t enjoy the good weather & the beautiful scenery of San Diego.

Balboa Park is a 1,200-acre urban cultural park in San Diego. In addition to open space areas, natural vegetation zones, gardens, and walking paths, it contains museums, several theaters, and the world-famous San Diego Zoo. Being There is enough to be inspired to capture great photos, the park is truly a great source of joy.

Marina & Yousef both live in San Fransico but have decided to have their wedding in beautiful San Diego among their friends & family. Despite their busy schedule and having to plan their wedding remotely, they made the time for this beautiful engagement session, which I may add, was so much fun for all of us. We all met in Balboa Park for the day & we couldn’t be happier with how their photos turned out! Their engagement session was just a rehearsal of what their wedding day is going to be like, and the word “FUN” is not even enough to describe how great & adorable this couple is!

The weather was absolutely perfect, it wasn’t too crowded which made it easier to navigate through the park & with the different locations available at the park, we were able to take so many great photos!
